Council amends and adopts comprehensive fee schedule; two fees corrected

The Santa Fe Springs City Council approved Resolution No. 9947 amending the city’s comprehensive fee schedule. City staff said two line‑items on the published fee schedule had incorrect amounts and the resolution was amended to show the corrected fees before council approval. The council approved the resolution by voice vote.
City Manager (Mr.) Boveda read the corrections into the record. On the wireless telefact renewal fee he said: “The listed dollar amount was listed as 2,355. The the correct amount is actually $4,605.” On the flammable combustible liquid manufacturing fee he said the previously listed $260 should be $2,675. Staff said those two corrections would be incorporated into the final resolution before it is filed.
The public hearing on the item was opened and no members of the public spoke. A council member moved to approve the resolution with the corrections and a second was made; the council voted by voice, with the mayor calling the ayes and declaring the motion carried.
The action updates the city’s official fee schedule to reflect the corrected amounts; staff said additional supporting details are in the staff report.
