Sweetwater County commissioners on March 4 approved a series of liquor license renewals for the 2025–26 licensing year, covering county retail liquor licenses, a restaurant license, retail malt-beverage permits and a limited retail license.
The board handled the applications in grouped votes. For the county retail liquor licenses — a group that included White Mountain Mining (AhJT Enterprises), Buckboard Marina at Flaming Gorge, Eden Saloon, Fast Stop (Cruel Jacks), The Hub (Mustang Travel Stop), Little America, Love's Travel Stops and several others — Commissioner Robert Slaughter moved to approve the group and Commissioner John Jones seconded. The motion passed 4–1, with Commissioner Richards recorded as abstaining.
The county restaurant liquor license for Purple Sage Ventures (doing business as The Login) was approved on a subsequent motion by Slaughter and second; the board voted unanimously. County retail malt-beverage permits for Crossroads Travel Plaza, Farson Feed Store, Little America, Mustang Travel Stop and others were approved unanimously on a grouped motion. The county limited retail liquor license for Rolling Green Country Club was likewise approved unanimously.
Nut graf: the approvals were routine renewals of existing license holders; the board opened the public hearings required for each group but recorded no public testimony on the items.
