Sarpy County board approves equalization consent agenda, tax corrections and regular consent items

The Sarpy County Board of Equalization and the Board of Commissioners met March 4 and approved routine consent items, including the equalization consent agenda and tax corrections, and later approved the commissioners’ consent agenda.

At the beginning of the session the Board of Equalization opened with public comments (none heard) and approved the consent equalization agenda on a motion recorded as carried by a 5–0 vote. The board then approved tax corrections numbered 17537 through 17540 after Assessor Dan Pittman presented the items; that motion also carried 5–0.

Later in the meeting the Board of Commissioners opened for public comment (none) then moved through the commissioners’ consent agenda. A motion to approve the county consent agenda passed on a recorded 5–0 vote.
