Lemoore City Council approved the consent calendar on March 4, passing three items in a single motion and vote.
The council approved: (1) minutes of the Feb. 18, 2025 regular meeting; (2) an extension and amendment of the memorandum of understanding for the Tulare-Kings County Interagency Hazardous Materials Team; and (3) adoption (second reading) of Ordinance 2025-01 amending Title 2, Chapter 5 of the Lemoore Municipal Code regarding the Parks and Recreation Commission. The motion to approve items 4-1, 4-2 and 4-4 was moved by Council Member Gornick, seconded by Council Member Lyons, and passed 5-0.
Item 4-3 — the city’s consent to a first amendment to the joint powers agreement forming the South Fork Kings GSA — was pulled from the consent calendar for discussion and was handled separately during the meeting (see separate coverage).
