College Place downtown association forms; city provides $2,000 in startup support

The group has already chosen projects, including murals, and a logo using city colors.
Commissioners responded positively to the update and praised the boards energy. Garcia said staff would take questions and continue to support the downtown groups work as it develops projects and seeks further funding or partnerships. No formal council action or ordinance was presented during the report; the $2,000 contribution was described as city support during the staff update.
