A commissioner asked about public process for tax‑forfeit sales; staff said any party can purchase a tax‑forfeit parcel that is not sold at the county auction. The board voted to replace the earlier resolution and approve the purchase request; the motion was carried by voice vote.
County staff said the sale is an outright purchase and will avoid future use restrictions the state had proposed had the parcel been transferred under the prior arrangement.
