“I, Todd Lambs, do hereby declare February 2025 as Black History Month in Cloverdale and encourage all citizens to recognize, celebrate, and honor the rich contributions by Black Americans to Cloverdale,” the proclamation concluded, dated Feb. 26, 2025.
The council did not record a formal vote on the proclamation in the meeting transcript. The proclamation text called on residents to mark events and recognitions during February.
