Morgantown officials draw order of names for April 29 municipal ballot

The drawing is a procedural step to set the printed order of candidate names. Ballot commissioner John Campbell participated in the process; a deputy clerk and city staff conducted and closed the drawing. “We encourage all residents to go out and vote and make your voice heard,” a city staff member said at the conclusion of the drawing.
Officials encouraged voters to visit morgantownwv.gov/elections for the full list of candidates and election information. The city’s statement said write-in candidates are not listed on the ballot.
