Board reads SEQRA notice for Northwood door repairs and schedules auditorium infrastructure proposition for May vote

Separately, the board read a resolution calling for a public vote on a proposed 2025 auditorium infrastructure project at the district’s secondary school auditoriums. The resolution, read at the meeting, described the proposition as an auditorium infrastructure project at an estimated maximum cost of $8,500,000 and directed that the proposition be included in the district’s notice of annual meeting and vote. Dr. Krueger told the board the auditoriums project focuses on "rigging, sound, and lighting" upgrades at both East and West high school auditoriums as well as corresponding secondary-level auditoriums.
Those resolutions were read publicly before the board acted later in the meeting. The SEQRA reading and the inclusion of the auditorium proposition in the annual meeting notice are preparatory steps; the proposition will go before district voters on the date the district schedules for its annual meeting and vote.
