For HVAC filters, staff reported seven bids and recommended awarding pleated air-filter pricing to Midwest Air Filter (Grand Rapids, Michigan) for an estimated $69,542.86 and roll-filter pricing to Filter Service Inc. (Des Plaines, Illinois) for an estimated $3,042.65; the HVAC filter contract term is March 1, 2025–Feb. 28, 2026, with two one-year renewal options, and funding was identified as the operations and maintenance fund.
Staff also recommended one-year renewals for two technology systems: Nutanix (server clusters/virtual machines) for $141,273.62 and Palo Alto (firewall) for $196,030.37; staff said both renewals would be paid from the technology budget and that the Palo Alto renewal was limited to one year while staff pursue potential E-rate funding for replacement hardware.
