Council rezones 4.76-acre Oak Level Road parcel to Highway Business (B1)

The Town of Nashville council unanimously approved a rezoning March 4 to convert a roughly 4.76-acre parcel at 1520 Oak Level Road from A1 (agriculture) to B1 (highway business).
Town staff said the rezoning is consistent with surrounding recent B1 approvals along Oak Level Road and cited the town’s future land-use guidance that identifies the area for highway services and commercial uses. The application was submitted by 3 MLR Limited Partnership and represented by Kevin Varnell of Stocks Engineering. Planning staff noted utilities and access are available and that the planning board voted unanimously to recommend approval after a February public hearing in which no members of the public spoke for or against the request.
The council approved the rezoning by voice vote; staff noted that future site plans and any required permits will be reviewed by the town’s Technical Review Committee and appropriate county or state agencies. No specific tenants or development proposal were presented at the meeting.
