Hendry School Board approves personnel recommendations; president abstains from one vote

The Hendry School board approved its consent agenda and two personnel appointments during its meeting, with the board president abstaining from one vote because a family member was the candidate.

Board members voted to approve the consent agenda, then approved action item 5A (personnel recommendation for Chelsea Brown) and action item 5B (personnel recommendation for Robin Laskill). President Brown abstained from the Chelsea Brown vote and board members recorded the motions as carried.
