At its meeting the Bryan Planning Commission took the following formal actions:
• Approved minutes of the Feb. 3 meeting (roll call: unanimous yes recorded).
• Voted to remove the outdoor-display variance from the table so it could be considered.
• Approved a variance allowing Bridal Home Center to place a “big red chair” behind an existing freestanding sign (majority vote: recorded roll-call shows a mix of yes and no votes; motion carried).
• Recommended that City Council rezone 427, 429 and 433 South Main Street from R-2 to C-3; the recommendation passed on a unanimous roll call and will be forwarded to City Council for final action.
• Approved a preliminary plat for Autumn Chase Phase 4 (Welling Construction, Inc.) to add 11 new lots and an open-space parcel; final construction drawings and the final plat must return for approval.
• Moved to adjourn; motion carried.
