The motion carried on a voice vote (board noted nine members present). Commissioners also directed administration to refine appointment-notice procedures and review how incumbent applications are handled to avoid future miscommunications.
The authority has four vacancies overall; the board asked administration to follow up on process clarifications and to return with additional candidates where appropriate.
