The action authorizes the mayor to execute the grant contract if the award is made; no grant award amount or match requirement was specified in the council minutes.
Councilmember Dugas moved for approval and Councilmember Gilbert seconded; the motion passed by recorded roll call with all five councilmembers voting yes.
Staff said the work would be funded by the grant if awarded and that details of materials and timing would be included in the contract stage. The council’s action authorizes staff to proceed with the application and to execute contract documents if the grant is awarded.
