Matt Ziricor, public works staff (signing authority), briefed the commissioners on March 4 about a resolution to grant signing authority to a Public Works staff member to complete a boundary-line adjustment at the Public Works Operations Building site.
Ziricor said the adjustment would aggregate parcels along the north property line so the site could be placed on a single parcel while keeping the same overall parcel count. "This gives you options in the future," he said, adding that boundary-line adjustments are quicker than short plats and preserve options for later subdivision.
Ziricor described the request as a routine administrative step to give an identified staff member authority to sign documents for the adjustment and other limited contract negotiations on behalf of the board. No vote or final enactment was recorded during the briefing; staff said the item would proceed to the consent agenda for formal action.
Commissioners had no substantive questions, and Ziricor proceeded to other Public Works items.
