Curtin Creek Community Park to begin construction in spring 2025 after phased design and grant funding

Lindy Wallach, park and trails planner with Clark County Parks and Nature, briefed the Curtin Creek Neighborhood Association on the Curtin Creek Community Park project and county parks funding and planning. She said Curtin Creek will be developed in two phases because inflation and available funds mean the county cannot complete the entire park at once.
Wallach described phase one as including the southern of two synthetic athletic fields (rugby/soccer), a large accessible nature play area with a restroom building and a reservable shelter, trails to wetland overlooks, and parking accessed from Northeast 70th Avenue near Vancouver Fire Station…
