DuPage County public works committee approves budget transfer, contracts and routine claims; several consent items pass unanimously

DuPage County Public Works Committee Chair Childress presided over a March 4, 2025 meeting during which the committee approved a series of routine and budget-related items, including a budget transfer tied to a sewer lining project and multiple procurement actions.

The committee voted to approve a budget transfer described by staff as needed because the sewer lining project carried over from fiscal year 2024. The chair moved a transfer of $775,000; the motion text also referenced moving $750,000 from the sewer and public works treatment-plant construction account to a waste-management system infrastructure account.
