The council opened a public hearing and called three times for speakers in favor and in opposition; no members of the public addressed the council before the hearing was closed. Councilmember Kintelli moved to approve the variance; Councilmember Potter seconded the motion. City Manager Thomas read the ordinance caption into the record before the vote.
By approving the ordinance, the council authorized a sign that staff described as 50 feet tall and roughly 360 square feet in sign face area at 1151 Enterprise Boulevard. The ordinance references the city’s sign regulations in chapter 58 of the Code of Ordinances, specifically the nonresidential sign requirements the packet identified as section 58-7(p).
The approved ordinance will be entered into the city record; no appeals or follow-up procedures were announced during the meeting.
