Vigo County commissioners approve alley vacate in Blackhawk

It is for a small alley that is just north of Rogers and just east of Indiana Street in the original town of Blackhawk," Barber said. He told the commissioners he was "happy to answer any questions" and that this was a formal approval.
The petitioner, identified in the transcript as J.C. Gumrey, was present. Barber noted that on this parcel "he owned both sides," and that no one spoke in opposition during the formal vote. The commissioners moved, seconded and approved the vacate by voice vote.
