Commissioner Ratana, who presented the item, told the committee the MIPPA money would complement the county’s existing high-cap program and would be split between the Statewide Senior Action Council and the county Department of Social Services. “It’s 38,000. Not a lot of money but it’s not chump change,” Commissioner Ratana said.
