County opens hot-mix bids for road division; two identical low bids create tie

The county attorney noted each bid included a 10% bid bond. Mr. Gleason presented the bids to the council. With identical low bids from Hollow Contracting and Montana Materials, the clerk and public works staff will review the proposals and procurement rules to determine next steps. The council voted 10-0 to refer communication number 2025-67 to the Public Works Department for action.
