The highway department reported no concerns contingent on site access and sight‑distance review; because the building exists already, staff said the request will not require a new site plan but will require coordination with the code department. Attorney or representative Larry Recony spoke for the applicants and said the salon would have three to four chairs and bring a neighborhood service and jobs.
No speakers registered in opposition. Because this matter was heard at the informal meeting, no final county commission vote was recorded; staff will forward the item to the formal agenda for action.
