District and school staff said classroom pod walls have been installed at several elementary schools and teachers report less distraction and fewer behavioral incidents.
Assistant Superintendent Barker said multiple pod wall installations are complete at Fox Hollow Elementary and other schools and that staff reported reduced distractions and improved learning conditions during school walkthroughs.
"The work looks amazing. It's been done quickly and with minimal disruption," Barker said, noting completed pods in grades 4–5 and kindergarten. Board members who visited schools corroborated staff comments, reporting quieter classrooms and fewer hallway distractions after the partitions were installed.
Barker and other administrators described the pod project as part of a multi‑year improvement plan that included performing arts center upgrades and other facility work; they said additional pod installations are scheduled where principals identify needs.
