Machesney Park committee approves sales-tax incentive for 1163 Power Road, funds design work for Stones Landing restrooms and Park 90 access road

The Administration and Finance Committee of the Village of Machesney Park approved three resolutions and a warrant at its March 2025 meeting, recommending each resolution to the full board and approving a warrant for $258,270.15.

Committee members voted to recommend Resolution 11R25, an economic incentive agreement with Jordan Property Management LLC to redevelop 1163 Power Road. Village staff said the property has lacked maintenance and currently has a sizable hole in the roof; Nate Jordan of Jordan Property Management is the proposed redeveloper. The agreement would share sales taxes to offset redevelopment costs for up to $500,000 or 10 years, whichever comes first.
