Rosie emphasized that the resolution before the commission was only to apply for the state grant and did not commit city matching funds; staff will return for any required funding commitments if the grant application is successful. The city intends to request the program’s maximum award of $150,000.
Commissioner Bruce moved the resolution; Commissioner Hannah seconded. The commission voted to recommend council approval of the grant application; the motion carried.
