Volsey told the commission the area had been used for parking in the past and that the request met the criteria in the city's abandonment ordinance; staff recommended approval.
The applicant and owner representatives were available for questions; no substantive questions were recorded. A commissioner moved to approve Resolution 36-25; the motion carried unanimously with no opposition recorded on the audio.
The action transfers the identified portion of right-of-way to the applicant upon completion of required administrative steps and receipt of payment; commissioners did not attach conditions or amendments on the record.
