A commissioner moved approval on the record, stating the motion was based on the factual testimony presented, the staff report, the recommendation of the planning board, and the findings that the proposed amendment complies with amendment standards in section 94-32 of the city zoning and land development regulations. The clerk read the ordinance into the record before the commission voted; the motion carried unanimously.
The ordinance declares the amendments consistent with the city's comprehensive plan and includes codification and severability clauses as well as an effective date. The commission did not record any public opposition or substantive testimony that altered the text between readings.
