Council forwards Dale Murish nomination for Historic District Commission to next meeting

The Troy City Council on Feb. 24 forwarded Mayor Pro Tem Gunn’s nomination of Dale Murish to serve on the Historic District Commission for the unexpired term ending May 15, 2027.
The motion to forward the nomination to the next regular council meeting for action was moved by Mayor Pro Tem Gunn and supported by Council member Brooks. Council member Chamberlain Kringa took a moment to recognize the late Tim McGee, whose passing created the vacancy, and thanked him for his service to the city.
The motion carried by recorded vote with yes votes from Mayor Baker and council members Brooks, Chamberlain Kringa, Chanda, Mayor Pro Tem Gunn and Hamilton.
The nomination will return for formal action at the council’s next regular meeting per the council’s motion.
