- Appointment: Chelsea Korbulic — recommended by the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe for alternate appointment to the Marine Resources Advisory Council; commissioners agreed to move the appointment forward to the next regular meeting.
- Appointment: Liam Antrim — recommended for the District 1 position on the Conservation Futures Program Advisory Board; commissioners agreed to place the appointment on the next regular meeting agenda.
- Personal services agreement: Outside labor and employment counsel (packet name: Cedars Bristow) — staff recommended a two‑year extension with the principal attorney rate negotiated to $325/hour and associate to $300/hour; staff will present the signed agreement at the next regular meeting.
- Energy audit: Agreement with Millig LLC — staff reported a negotiated fixed-fee contract of $129,980 (original bid $109,580) to be paid from a state grant (Wassick grant/WOSAC funding); staff will bring the fully executed contract for signature at the next regular meeting.
- Behavioral health/medical services: Agreement with Community Health Plan of Washington — staff to obtain clearer written contract language (facility addresses in Exhibit A and explicit inclusion of medical services where intended) and return the revised agreement for signature.
- Collum/Colum Bay ramp replacement: Contract with Topper Industries (Topper) for day‑use ramp replacement — low bid of $52,336 plus tax; project is LTAC‑funded and staff will present contract for signature at the next regular meeting.
- Department of Ecology Washington Conservation Corps grant application — staff will submit a no‑cash application to receive crew labor from the Washington Conservation Corps for invasive weed and trail projects and will supervise crews; no board action required beyond submission at this time.
- Amendment to Department of Agriculture FAERS grant for dog barn capital project — staff will place an amendment on the next regular meeting agenda to allow reimbursement for roof replacement work already completed; the grant funding is in place.
Most items were forwarded without a recorded formal board vote at the work session; staff were directed to return with final agreements or clarifying language for board action at the next regular meeting.
