KITSAP COUNTY — At its Feb. 24 meeting the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners approved several board appointments and adopted two proclamations recognizing Women's History Month and National Parent Leadership Month.
Appointments and reappointments - Commission on Children and Youth Advisory Board: The board approved the appointment of Megan Kaskuna to a three‑year term ending Feb. 23, 2028, and reappointed Dragan Karsdick to a three‑year term ending Oct. 10, 2027. Laura Hyde, who staffs the commission, told commissioners that Kaskuna formerly worked as a youth services librarian, holds a master's degree in information studies and has lived experience with housing scarcity; she is a military spouse and parent of a child with special needs.
