Commissioners agreed to assemble a small working group to clarify townwide flag responsibilities and a centralized process for replacement and display standards. The group will include a commission member and a town staff representative so the municipality can maintain consistent, safe flag handling.
A resident asked that a wooden structure described as a gaga ball pit near the basketball court be removed because it appears unused and is collecting weeds. Commissioners agreed to contact the person who constructed the structure as an Eagle Scout project before deciding on removal.
Other maintenance and amenities matters included a senior work‑off program replacement: a new participant named John has signed up to perform weekly trash pickup and light maintenance, which commissioners said they would onboard for spring work. The commission also noted an upcoming ADA assessment and said it expects recommendations and potential adjustments once the assessor completes stakeholder consultations.
Finally, commissioners recorded resident interest in adding a pickleball facility and in a small youth 3‑on‑3 basketball program; the commission asked staff to add both items to a future agenda and requested that proponents fill out use‑of‑field forms and provide more information.
