The committee also voted to recommend confirmation of Karen Sharpnak to the Idaho State Soil and Water Conservation Commission for the same term dates (July 1, 2024–July 1, 2029). Senator Taylor offered the motion and a second was recorded; the committee approved the motion by voice vote with no opposition recorded.
Each reappointment was forwarded to the full Senate with the committee’s recommendation for confirmation. No additional committee amendments or conditions were recorded at the hearing.
