County approves several infrastructure and IT contracts; tables security provider review

AT&T network renewal
The commission approved renewal of an AT&T point-to-point Ethernet contract that connects 11 county sites. The monthly cost is $5,094.78 ($61,599.84 annually), the IT presenter said; the contract must be signed by July 17. Commissioners approved the renewal in open session.
Aerial imagery funding
Chief Information Office staff requested $4,000 to help cover the county's share of a 2025 aerial-imagery flight (EagleView) that runs on a two-year cycle. The commissioners approved the $4,000 contribution to keep the county's GIS base maps current.
Wet-well service for Justice Center
The county awarded a monthly service agreement to PumpWorks for maintenance and repairs at the Justice Center wet well, following repeated failures of a grinder/"muffin monster" unit and damage to control wiring and pumps. The vendor will provide three monthly visits and a report, after which the county may extend service quarterly. New pumps were ordered with delivery dates in March, the county said. Commissioners approved the service agreement by roll-call vote.
Cell-tower subtenant and Crown Castle lease
Commissioners approved adding AT&T as a subtenant on a Crown Castle lease at a county highway department tower (business listed as "ccatt, LLC" in the record) and authorized county counsel to negotiate toward a 20-year term rather than a 30-year term. The motion passed by roll call.
Security contract tabled; IU Health clinic materials requested
A separate contract with Corson for fire and security services was tabled so staff can meet with the vendor and obtain a 2025 service agreement. Commissioners also tabled action on the IU Health master agreement after questions about utilization, metrics and wait times at the county clinic; they asked clinic staff for deliverables and quarterly performance metrics before signing.
