Tea Area student councils present Pierre trip and school-year activities in Titan Spotlight

Students said the trip included committee-room visits, a locked committee room where they could sit as if legislators, and talks about the role of media in state government from a reporter named Austin Voss. Several students — identified by first and last names during the presentation — gave short remarks about what they learned and why the visit mattered.
Legacy Student Council members also described their activities this school year: school-wide art projects tied to a theme, red-ribbon awareness events, a cookie-decorating celebration, a bake sale that raised more than $600 for school needs, playground improvements (painted lines for soccer and kickball), and upcoming events including a volleyball-net purchase plan, another spring bake sale, and a school-wide kindness challenge.
Board members and staff thanked the students and advisors for their presentations and invited board members and chaperones to take a group photo.
