Waddeira said the donation would go toward feeding and hydrating volunteers, fuel for travel, program materials and items such as t‑shirts or hoodies. Commissioners asked about receipts and accounting; Waddeira said she would try to provide receipts or documentation of spending to the county but could not guarantee 100% compliance because funds are routed through the nonprofit organizer.
A motion to provide $500 for volunteer support was made, seconded and carried unanimously.
