Malcolm Coley, identified by the presenters as a cofounder and chief technology officer, and Nudy (Nudie) Felton, identified as a cofounder and chief marketing officer, told council that Futures First uses esports and gaming as an entry point to teach coding, game design, content creation, event organization and other tech skills. Coley said, “Everybody in here knows somebody who plays video games,” and framed gaming as a gateway to broader careers.
