A representative of the Downtown Tipp City Partnership reported event and fundraising figures from 2024 during the council—s citizen comment period on Feb. 18.
Lisa Santucci, speaking on behalf of the Downtown Tipp City Partnership, said the partnership counted just over 16,000 total attendees at events where the partnership or the city was mentioned in 2024. She told council the partnership held 50 events last year and reported private donations and grants totaling $40,000. Santucci said partnership director Tasha Weaver was at training and offered to provide copies of the Heritage Ohio statistics to council.
Why it matters: These figures provide a snapshot of downtown event activity and fundraising that inform city support, scheduling and promotion of downtown programs.
Santucci offered to distribute printed copies of the report to council members and said director Tasha Weaver is available to answer follow-up questions. Council members thanked staff and the downtown partnership for their efforts and conveyed positive feedback on event safety and operations from vendors and attendees.
No formal action was required or taken on the figures presented.
