Tipp City Council accepts restoration board report, approves event permits and updates advisory appointments

Mr. Maddox described the restoration board annual report as a summary of the board's work for the prior year; the council voted to accept the draft report. The council also authorized the police chief and city manager to sign F2 permit applications for two downtown events: the Tipp City Partnership's St. Patrick's Day celebration to be held March 7, 2025, and the Monroe Federal 150th anniversary block party scheduled for July 19, 2025. On appointments, the council corrected a staff representative to the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission's Technical Advisory Committee, removing Mr. Mack as the representative and appointing Jeremy Bowser for a one-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2025. The council also corrected the appointment to the OMEA board staff alternate, removing Mr. Mack and appointing Mr. Malford for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2025.
