The Kershaw County School Board of Trustees met in executive session during its February 2025 meeting to discuss resignation and retirement of certified and classified personnel, employment of certified and classified personnel, and assignment changes and transfers.
After the executive session, the board reconvened in open session and the board president asked for a motion to accept the administration's recommendations concerning employment matters. The motion was moved and seconded; the board then voted and the chair declared the vote unanimous in favor.
The meeting minutes state the motion was made and seconded and that all votes were “aye.” The board then moved to adjourn. The packet and minutes identify the personnel matters discussed; the public record presented at the meeting did not enumerate individual hires, separations or assignment details during the open session.
