At the start of the meeting a commissioner moved to approve the Nov. 14 minutes and another commissioner seconded; the commission approved the minutes by voice vote. Later, during general business, a commissioner nominated Fred Dayton for vice chair, another commissioner seconded the nomination, and the motion carried by voice vote. Several commissioners commented that Dayton has presided capably in the chair's absence.
The commission noted its next regular meeting is scheduled for Feb. 13, 2025, and then adjourned.
