Committee members said multiple SD2 proposals had been circulated but the panels had not reached consensus on a path forward. "We did post a proposed, SD 2, I guess it was. And we were scheduled to take testimony, but the we have not found a way forward on this bill," a committee speaker said on the record. "We don't have consensus on them. So, we will be deferring this measure indefinitely."
