The board did not announce an immediate new independent investigation during the meeting; administrators noted the district takes misconduct and complaint processes seriously.
Petition for 466 homes: A separate speaker (Charles) asked trustees to support an upcoming petition to reassign 466 homes from Denton ISD to Prosper ISD so property tax revenue would go directly to Prosper ISD. He described a historical attempt at a land swap and said the current effort is a debt‑allocation petition; Charles asked the board to support the petition when it arrives for consideration.
The board did not take action on these public‑comment items at the meeting; administrators reiterated that personnel and student‑conduct matters are handled confidentially and directed the public to formal grievance channels for specific employee complaints.
