Nelman requested the town suspend further building activity by Lennar until the identified defects are addressed and said the "smoking gun" evidence is at a specific address he provided to council ("9500 West 103rd Place"). He asked council members and staff to visit the site and to meet homeowners to review issues he said remain unresolved in the Gates of St. John and Cypress Gates neighborhoods.
Council leadership interrupted to note the town’s civility rules and to decline to discuss personnel matters during the meeting. Nelman closed his remarks by reiterating his request that the town address the alleged defects affecting homeowners.
