Economic Development committee hears downtown beautification proposal; Woodmont development to seek variance

"He's got some pretty big aspirations," Nutting said of the community member who presented the beautification ideas, adding that the Woodmont project "looks to be a good project." The committee postponed further discussion of Soundcode to a future meeting.
No formal action was taken on either the beautification proposal or the Woodmont development at the Feb. 27 council meeting; both items were described as returning to the appropriate body for further review.
