HR summarized intent-to-return responses collected in January: 19 staff indicated they do not plan to return next year (10 retirements, eight family relocations, one leaving for employment outside education). Of those 19, 12 were licensed staff and seven were support staff. HR emphasized that intent-to-return data are for planning purposes and do not exactly predict final resignations.
Board members asked about sign-ups for the job fairs; HR said nine applicants were scheduled for an upcoming Thursday fair and two for a later date. The board thanked HR for the update and encouraged continued recruitment efforts.
