Franklin County schools report early gains and challenges as Bookworms literacy rollout continues

Franklin County Public Schools officials told the school board on Feb. 10 that its new Bookworms literacy program has produced noticeable growth in some elementary classrooms but requires more training, progress monitoring and targeted interventions to reach all students.
