Several directors and members said they wanted a consolidated fines-and-fees schedule showing the proposed new prices for pool and fitness center side-by-side and asked for time to solicit member feedback.
A motion to postpone the approval request until the board’s next regular meeting (the packet records the motion as a postponement to the March board meeting) passed with a second. The board directed staff to publish a complete fee schedule and to circulate it to members along with a 30-day member-notice period before bringing a final proposal back for a vote.
Board members said the communication should clarify that the current hybrid access practice (day passes, monthly fitness memberships and seasonal pool pricing) remains in effect until the board adopts any changes. Staff said fewer than 10 nonresident monthly fitness memberships were active at the time of the discussion but that pool participation rises in the summer.
