At its Feb. 24 meeting the Lake Bluff Board of Trustees approved prior meeting minutes and a consent agenda that included two ordinances on second reading: authorization to purchase a replacement police vehicle and the declaration of one police vehicle as surplus, and final plan approval and zoning variations for a planned mixed‑use development at 120 East Scranton Avenue. The consent agenda was adopted by roll call.
During the non‑agenda public comment period, residents Veil and Leif Gamrath of 660 Green Bay Road addressed the board. They thanked trustees for investigating and acting on a local pickleball situation, saying the trustees listened to data and upheld village ordinances. One resident said the board’s example motivated them to run for a local board and that the neighborhood’s quality of life had been preserved.
The board also approved the minutes of the prior meeting by voice vote earlier in the agenda. No amendments to the consent items were recorded on the Feb. 24 consent agenda pass.
