The workshop, led by Audrey Starci, Sammamish’s director of public works, set out the plan’s goals, schedule and how recommended projects could be folded into the city’s Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). “This is one of our very important plans for this next biennium. This is a critical plan for the city,” Starci said, noting that Sammamish has not previously adopted a stand-alone bike-and-pedestrian plan and that elements will be incorporated into the city’s Transportation Master Plan.
